As part of her catechumen, (stemming originally from the Greek katekhoumenos, meaning, a Christian under instruction before baptism); the soon to be baptized parishioner Sandy, organized a food-packing day at Feeding Westchester in Elmsford.

According to Brendan, Manager of Corporate and Community Partnerships, our small but mighty Zion congregation “packed 600 bags for our Food Is Medicine program which went to healthcare centers in Westchester County! On top of that, your donation allows us to distribute 1,000 more meals for our neighbors in need!”
Stay tuned for more Feeding Westchester packing days in May!
